Maybe this is the end for Guilbert then if Wiggy is to be backup/competition for LB with Young deputising for Cash.

I only saw the extended highlights and thought Carlos looked a class act.

I’d initially be disappointed if Kesler wasn’t considered as a backup for Cash. But realistically, he’d only get 2 or 3 games a season, for Cash’s accumulation of cards.

Kesler already has L2 and L1 experience, so maybe he’d be better off on a Championship loan, with a call-back option, should Cash get nobbled.

Not sure why Guilbert is getting ignored, he was having rave reports last season! I guess once we know the squad that is going to Oz, the ones left behind will have no impact this season..

I am a fan of Guilbert, but by the looks of it, he’s not fancied.

I saw the photos of the Internationals, McGinn, Martinez, Coutinho, Digne, Cash, and Kamara, who all flew out to Oz last week. All under the watchful eye of Elmo, back in Villa branded kit. Hopefully in an ambassador/staff role, or even maybe, backup to the backup, of the backup RB?

Looks like Chuckie is on his way out, clearly not part of SG plans, I take it he is also fed up of his attitude!

I find his face annoying. That might be because i dont like him. Players like Kamara and Sanchez have given up the opportunity to play in the champions league to play for us and Gerrard but Chuckie is to good for us? Then again i think if we sign another midfielder like Gallagher he wont get much game time.
