But the "poor service/high prices" model works very well for those odious cu nts Gloag and Soutar.
So the government is happy because there is, nominally, service provision.
A proper Government would run things properly, allow the public not to rely on cars to the same extent and generally enjoy more flexibility.
But this would involve investment, which would involve the wealthy's disproportionately low rate of direct taxation being raised.
So it's obviously a bad idea when your ethos is "free market at any cost".
And tell me how provision of utilities could be any more of a sh1tshow than they presently are?
