Dare i say it?,this team is better than that one but the keepers are on a par i reckon.
G the killie game came into my head last night mate, keepers huge huge issue. Fix that and we should survive relegation and I’m not giving a fcuk what the tangerine tinted say we are relegation contenders and the table doesn’t lie!

Great performance last night and we need to kick on from that

As Sporting Director Tony is accountable for hiring and directing people to get results which meet the sporting objectives. I'm pretty sure being safe from relegation is amongst the minimum expectations.
Folk he hired have since moved on or been moved on, meanwhile the team are bottom of the league.
Yes we beat Aberdeen and that's great, but lets not kid ourselves that it could have been so different if the sheep had taken the lead after our keeper's flap.
If is a big word I admit, but if this does not improve then there comes a time when you question the capability of the man who is accountable.
Whoever is ultimately accountable cannot be immune from criticism.
I like all Utd fans hope Fox succeeds and delays this question being seriously asked for many a year.

My opinion on Harkes hasn't changed, still a good player who has a weird obsessed bunch of haters, bizarre, I like Sibbald too so it's not a case of liking one or the other for me, it's a squad game, Levitt looked more like himself and he's been worse than Harkes this season

Only reason I haven't posted for over a week is I thought we were decent against St Johnstone, the better team and two poor moments defensively let us down but knew I'd be getting in arguments and having daft posts to reply for thinking that given the result so gave it a swerve

I also don't buy into this mini league either, think we can do better than bottom three but it's early days, and we have a dodgy keeper

Hibs will be tough on Tues but we've picked up under Fox

2-1 at Livi (Harkes winner sends us into last eight)
0-0 at Motherwell (dug it out could have lost)
1-2 at Ibrox (good performance, best from an away side there in the league upto now, didn't collapse with the early goals either half)
1-2 at home to Saints, gave away a silly first goal when they hadn't even been in our box, thought we were decent overall, terrible tef, toxic home support didn't help
4-0 much better, scoreline flattered us but been due a bit of luck with decisions, positive home support from the start, better vibe all round

Agree Shedka. Hopefully get out the bottom 3 first, then hopefully kick on.

I, like many others, would love to know what you are on?!!!
We we sh!te against St. Johnstone, they bullied us, simples.
Harkes is sh!t as many others agree, and Sibbald (being much more aggressive and a better passer of the ball), allowed Levitt to be more creative, than trying to cover for Harkes usual mistakes, thus the whole team benefitted from that (as affshore said, sure he assisted in a 2/3 of our goals).
I suggest next game Shedka, you stay off the stuff and watch the game properly, you then might see what everybody else does ffs!

Wrong (or let's agree to disagree), I watched the game and we were the better side

It was all about the first goal, in our situation, the game turned and it affected us, but overall we were the better team had the better of the game and were better than we had been in the other home games, you maybe watched a different game though or were under the influence

Last night was similar, not much in it to begin, then Eriksson went missing, they messed up the chance that if they took we maybe don't win as crowd may turn, confidence etc

Wrong again with regards Harkes (or agree to disagree) , Harkes played in every game this time last year when we were top 4 and Levitt played just fine beside him, difference is we had Fuchs in there while Butcher was injured, Harkes and Levitt were excellent, Harkes won the derby, scored at Celtic Park in our best performance of the season, was very good at Easter Road in the 3-0 win, Sibbald and Harkes both started vs AZ at home, its not about Sibbald instead of Harkes.... but at same time, if Sibbalds fitness can manage games in quick succession then I wouldn't be changing anything for Tues

Squad game afterall and you need strength in depth

Obviously a (VERY) difference of opinion, BUT you are in the minority, and over the weekend, far many more posters on here have shared my view, that Harkes should be nowhere near our team in a starting capacity, simples, and about time you acknowledged that (like some others recently have).

Here is an impartial view of our home game v ST Johnstone,he also appears to have watched a different game to you.
