Yes, all they needed to do was let someone like Jacob Rees-Mogg appear at the end of the episode and say..
''None of that is true, the natural world is not being impacted by corporations and human activities, we are not losing species, in fact new species are appearing every day''
And there you'd have it...'balance', the usual pack of lies, but at least the BBC would still be knocked off its stated mission to inform the public of what's going on. Heaven forbid they ever do that
It's political correctness gone mad!
Totally agree. The earth and the universe existed before humans and it will exist after them. Hopefully all the billionaires whose corporations are trashing our planet will get their space pods ready in enough time so they at least can escape. You never know they might be able to take a few of those in power who turn a blind eye with them?
Shame about all the animals dying. And that our grandkids etc will all be living on a boiling hot rubbish dump. But business is business and the most important thing is that capitalism survives. Chin up oldpie.
In other BBC news, David Attenborough has a new series about to be broadcast. The first five episodes will be on BBC1, but, due to the BBC fearing that the government and right wing press might object, the last episode is only on IPlayer. The BBC has also apologised to Nadine Dories because they didn't take her seriously (I thought nobody did) when she complained about the impartiality of the Sue Gray report. I wonder where the pressure on the state broadcaster is coming from. Actually, I don't.
jacobncfc no it is not about taking someone off the tele just because they said something some people don't want to hear. It was because the BBC is supposed to be seen to be politically neutral. EP I am not quite sure who I am trying to belittle with their answers, so not really pot kettle. BFP you have my political views all wrong, as there are/were a lot of things I liked about Jeremy Corbyn but I suspect even that would not left wing enough for you. In my opinion you are way off beam regarding Paul Embery, but I am happy for you to think differently to me.
