Being honest, we were dreadful first half. Couldn’t hold onto the ball, kept giving it away needlessly & couldn’t string two passes together.

Second half far, far better. Robson made some adjustments, we pressed higher and harder and took our chances.

Well done to all. The fight, attitude and commitment from every player was also first class - again.

    A few special mentions.

Roos - I dont know what’s happened to him since he came back but he’s night and day from what he was before. Another two or three terrific stops and another clean sheet. Take a bow son.

The back 3 - absolutely immense again. Cormack needs to move heaven and earth to get these guys signed. The commitment and the way they throw themselves into tackles and blocks is everything you want back there. Hard to believe they’re not actually our players. I think they get what that jersey means (and its not too big for them unlike some) so hopefully they will stick around.

Clarkson - again that wee bit of quality and class to make the difference. Sublime ball in for Miovski. Another I’d love to stick around.

Ramadani - best game he’s had for me. Was everywhere, putting in tackles, noising them and the crowd up. He gets it too. Good loon.

Mio worked really hard (as did Duk who was quiet by his standards). One chance, one goal with brilliant movement & finishing. Aye, we’ve had some dud signings this year, but the two up top have been simply superb.

The job’s pretty much Robson’s to lose now. Unbelievable turnaround, though the 3 January signings have made a massive difference, so I’d like to know how much involvement he had there.

He’s got the job until season end so leave it at that. If he secures third, the jobs his, no question.

Lovely stuff today. 5 games to go. Keep it up AFC. COYR.
Excellent summary Moog and thank the feck the Goodwin effect has now been eraicated we are simply a different team and class now

Yeah, agree .... Barry has earned the job.

I previously compared BR's stats to Goodwin's after 6 games.

I now think these have improved to the point that comparison with JG's is pointless ... but ... here ye go ...

    Clean sheets:
    JG .. 4/23 = 17.4%
    BR .. 6/10 = 60%

    GD:
    JG ... P23 GD -8
    BR ... P10 GD +8

    Points:
    JG ... 29/69 = 42%
    BR ... 24/30 = 80%

    Wins:
    JG ... 9/23 = 39%
    BR ... 8/10 = 80%

It may only be 10 games, but I have a feelin' the above percentages re. points and wins might be better than ANY manager in our history!

When you see it like that it would be hard to fathom why he wouldn't get it.

I have a feeling he is getting it, possibly already got it, but it wont be announced until the season is over.

Aberdeen 2-0 Rangers: Liam Scales leads the way for rejuvenated Aberdeen

Interesting read by the "rugby man".

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65369221

I wouldn't attribute a win against them the significance that some have including English.

It will only give them inflated ideas of their own importance in our game.

Still, it's funny to hear them whining like their brethren across the city.

Happy days indeed, as most have already said first half performance was mediocre at best (decent defending tho). Second half was different class and pure quality from front to back. Liam Scales is like a totally different player, would not be against trying to sign him up full time, but please no more fkn loans from any team in the same fkn league and especially them two.
Brilliant result and into the split 5 points clear in 5th place, destiny in our own hands.
As for Robson just give him the job full time and the freedom of the city.

The icing on the cake would have been, had Celtic won on Saturday, we'd have had the pleasure, again, of ensuring "they" couldn't win the league (barring Celtic losing every game by a barrowload of goals). Not that we need any more icing!😁

Great to hear Beale crying about some of his players not being able to handle the atmosphere.

Funny how it's a matter of pride that Ipox can create an intimidating atmosphere for visitors but everyone else is expected to sit there quietly admiring the entitled scum.

Barry ****inhun telling tales too of how it was tangible that we despised the barstewards.

They don't understand why we despise cheating? Morons.

As The Northern Light once revealed:

    "Why do Rangers fans stink?"

"So that the blind and partially-sighted can hate them too".

    Quod erat demonstrandum.

He won't be there after next weekend.
