Are we on repeat! I'm just hearing same thing all the time. Was there Saturday I've said was a point won cause they from open play created the most chances. Need to change it tomorrow night get Hugill & Nombe up front to do that we have to go to 3-5-2. Got to have 3 in midfield.

Interesting as I think you contributed quite a lot to the Hosses thread which is ok by the way there is no limit on responses unless it bothers you?

When people take their time to explain their views I have a lot more time for them because at least they provide the debate some rationale, it is a lot more constructive than just throwing stones at specific posters. I am currently in the camp that he isn't the right manager for Rotherham United, he did ok last season he was helped by inheriting a squad of players that had a core who had played together for quite a while, he also inherited a good start (14 points - 10 from teams that finished in the bottom half as well). The whole Richard Wood situation was strange and didn't help him, Wood was excellent when recalled and a major factor on us getting over the line, that decision was forced on MT. He has spent more money in the last window than any other manager has spent in a summer, it is hard to see the argument that he spent it well. Christ looks like he could become a good player for us, no idea about Nombe because he won't play him from the start and for a group of games. Spending £1.2m on a player that you think will need time to develop at Rotherham is not a clever decision. The big thing for me, is I don't see an identity in the team, i don't know what type of team we are and I am not sure the players do either, I admit that is subjective. He did manage to keep us up, he has had to deal with a lot of injuries andhe did inherit Tom Eaves so perhaps he deserves longer. I thought before the S6 fiasco that seeing how we get on up to the middle of December (the West Brom) game would hopefully give him time to improve our performances and position, still giving a new man if required a couple of weeks before the window opens. If the club decided on that timeframe then so be it, I hope he proves me and others on here wrong, because my passion is for the club not MT or any other employee.
    Derby it’s just banter
Like you said to cayton there is no tone of voice just words.
I don’t like writing long worded posts tbh but don’t mind reading others.
Imo that doesn’t give them any more credibility though as some times it’s just a repeat of previous posts.
I think stats and stuff can be used in any way to prove a point or try and prove someone wrong but the reality is it’s just opinions that’s all.
Ive got no problem if people want MT gone don’t necessarily agree with it as my posts will say.
Some on here dismiss opinions because you won’t write an essay on why.
The reality is personality of the manager has a big influence on how a manager is viewed.
Steve Evans been the prime example incredibly successful with us but like marmite.
I think that’s what’s driving some opinions on here towards MT just my opinion.

I was more concerned about Derek thinking he has a split personality
I don't disagree with what you say, I think personality is a big factor

Changing the manager will not sort our problem winning football matches on regular basis in the championship. We need to scrap for every point . Most of the games at home so far we had a chance getting points . Wins 2 Draws 3 losses 2 is not too shabby . Away form is terrible but it’s nothing new in this division.

Never a dull moment following the Millers!

Football fans are notoriously fickle and impatient and the last two calamitous results/performances have seen more fans turn against Taylor. However, like it or not, we have to give him more time. We can't keep chopping and changing managers and to do so now would probably not improve our chances of survival. The jury is still well and truly out on him, but Taylor has to be given more time.

I know some have completely lost faith in him and he will never get them onside. Personally, I'm still hopeful that he's willing to change some things that he apparently sees as fundamental. For example, I'm not sure what more Kelly and Nombe could have done to merit a starting place tomorrow. Hopefully Taylor will see it that way. He's nothing to lose and probably a lot to gain (in credibility if nothing else) by giving it a go.

It's not as desperate as some make out.
