I think the 2 main issues are wages (10k a week) and the fact he?s not even guaranteed to start for us.

Are Macca's wagers confirmed or purely speculation ? A couple of sites quote his salary as ?7.5 k per week ?

He can?t be forced to take a pay cut, case in point Harry Arter. Millwall's best hope is loan him to L1 club and they pay 75% or sell him and pay him off too.

Wrexham have just signed two forwards, including one for over ?1 million, and I’m not sure who else could afford to buy Macca or pay his wages other than Birmingham (and they have a ?15 million forward already).

Well yeah he?s in a pickle and so are Millwall with it. I?d say his market value now is probably down to 300-400k and obviously let?s say he is on 10k as I did hear that (don?t know how concrete that was) will he want to take for example 7k or less now, it?s a lot of money for someone who hasn?t made that much out the game so far.

If Millwall agree to sell for less he?s got a football vs financial decision. Notts wouldn?t pay more than 5k a week and he?s on approx 10k with I assume 2 years left on his contract, its not small beer.

Who would value him at that much now ? ?400k for a 28 year old who cant hack it in the champ ? No chance. Millwall will be lucky to get a third of their purchase price.
What a mess for Millwall and for Macca?but many of us could have foreseen all this I?m sure.
