Both goals were totally avoidable in their build up.

Whitaker must do so much better when closing Sterry down and not allowing him to make 30 yards. Jones also needed to be much stronger when he went for the ball just inside their half. The going down trying to buy a free kick was embarrassing.

Donny went long relatively regularly and we never quite sorted our line out, I think we played 5/10 yards too high. Us getting turned a bit made us nervy.

I was very impressed with Abbott who was a different level to everyone on both teams. A proper stand out.

The second half was a bit of an anomaly as we tried to go more attacking and expansive, leaving Matty Platt to do a lot of covering.

Thoroughly disappointing overall. They whole staff have a massive week coming up.

True, both goals were a case of our players being far too easily pushed off the ball. In truth, we got exactly what we deserved from the match, nothing. It looked precisely what it was, men against boys. I'm not looking forward to the P/O's given that showing. What a total bottle job this team has become, only Abbott worthy of a mention.

Probably be played on Monday night too knowing our luck. Would really hope they'd choose Saturday 17:00 if they aren't allowed 15:00.

Any season ticket holder who saw that shambles today and before today will certainly wait to see who will be the manager next season, some will stay, some won?t. We are unlikely to see an increase in sales. Will the bros be happy to see that?

Even by our piss poor standards at home this season that was an unforgivably bad performance in such a big game. Abbot aside we were abysmal.

Support was great, but the club gave up on this season when they sold Crowley.

I've got a hunch that Maynard's response will be "Yeah, no. It's frustratin'. But there were some great performances out there. They've left everything on the pitch. Donny are champions for a reason. Blah, blah, blah."
