I think we do, when Jatta was about to get his red, it was Bedeau that ran about 40 yards to talk to the ref. We're most competent and disciplined along that line. Bedeau or Platt should be our captains as they lead by example.

I would definitely make Bedeau captain next season. He was also the only one I saw trying to gee the rest of the team up. Leads by example.

I’d be worried if Palmer is a first choice next season - we need more physicality throughout the side, but especially in midfield. These type of players don’t come cheap, though.

Strangely I was sat a few seats from Gordon (who was watching in Pavis) and he looked miserable. Maybe that he was just told at the last minute that Austin was taking his place.

Not sure how we have managed to lose that game. Let’s hope for a decent referee, a bit of luck, McGoldrick to be fit and a good performance next week in the return leg. The tie is not yet over.
