Scottish football is rank. It is rank because teams and fans accept mediocrity and that is the LAZY approach.

In saying that I hope we give them a doing so I truly regret not being there. I have seen enough one sided matches against Celtic to last me a lifetime.

Celtic could easily beat us playing with 10 players?that?s how bad we have become.

Yes an omission on my part. Mitov was also immense & deserves a special mention.

Crucial late save from Maeda & you cant beat two great penalty stops in a cup final.

Well done min, you deserve every bit of the praise youre getting.

That video someone posted of the players at the end is superb.

The shear joy on Polvaras face when he realises that we have won the Scottish Cup should make him a cult hero for us whether or not he ever manages to become a first choice player.

I see its been announced that Ross Doohan is to join Celtic.

You can call me a cynical b@astard, but I reckon that announcment was likely down to them rubbing our noses in it. Thinking they were going to win the cup/treble.

I wouldn't say it's anything like Charlie Nicholas going in 1990, but still a big f*ck you to Doohan and Timothy.

My utter disrespect for the Weegie brigade and that tiny tight-suited BRENDA FCKR is consequently augmented. CNUTS.

Rico 94 reply, Ditto - he must have been glancing at the screen as I. often did during the game but his emotions at the end are brilliant.

He deserves a decent run in the side to show us what he can do.
It's been stop start for him with us. Possibly helped by nobody knowing what position he plays in.
You have to think Jimmy will utilise the squad next season with group stage European football, so should be plenty game time available.

Folk often think Polvara hasn't the toughness for Scottish fitba, yet he sh*thoused Hibs, in the closing stages of the post split win and was our second penalty taker on Saturday.

He also couldn't look at the penalties being taken, which is what real men do!

    😂😂

I'm so glad I had the foresight to book today off work.
I think otherwise it might have been a Torry holiday.

I suspect there will be a few Torry holidays taken around Aberdeen today.

I was thinking back to 1990 and how little pictures or videos there are of that cup win.
I have my ticket and programme and bar a fading memory of it, that's about it.

Fast forward 35 years and pictures and videos galore and it is fantastic.

I've never been much of a social media user and unlikely I ever will be, but it does have its positives.

Just can't stop watching videos and viewing photos of the cup win and the mayhem that has followed it.
