Nombe's contract runs to 30th June 2027.

My apologies I understood his contract ran out this year but that?s good for you in that you don?t have to cash in early but I suspect Sam may have his eyes on a move anyway if offers come in? I don?t know if Wanderers are interested in him or not but I?d definitely take him for ?1m, we?ve paid more for worse.

The point I?m making is that there will only be a finite amount of players available to us in this window, we are not likely to sign anybody other than loans, the ones who are readily available have probably mostly gone now ? The rest will have to be prised from other clubs with attractive loan arrangements, so yes it?s definitely a numbers game and Doncaster and Chesterfield are two of our competitors who have snapped up players from a diminishing pool of players.

Why's Etete still here? Waste of a loan. Another thing we don't need 2 who feed off a big forward like Whatmore & Ryan One both been rumoured we're in for. Just one of them with a target man type forward which we haven't had all season required.

Target man - Get Michael Smith back on loan,
would be a ideal player, for Nombie to feed off.
But can't see that happening, Smith's club P N End in the promotion race, so will need him.
Come the end of the season I would think Smith will be looking for another club.

After the game New Years day, we went back in the Angel pub.

Strange, he was a used sub (60 mins) for Huddersfield Town today.

Wiles coming back? They would want too much. It would take investment on the scale he chucked at Taylor and Evans.

We were always know has a club being run excellent on it's finances, all of a sudden over the last few years we've ran up debt of ?5M/ ?7M. We've only got Nombe as saleable, and thats not going to clear very much.
