I can't speak for others but personally I was neither in favour or against GRR in principle - it really doesn't bother me one way or another, where they went wrong was refusing to budge on some of the proposed amendments that would have provided some protection against those with a history of being violent towards woman. I think giving the opposition a "win" would have lance the boil for many people. Regardless of what she claims, it cost Sturgeon her job.

Where I do have an issue is spending an unbelievable amount of parliamentary time over many years on this single issue when there are so many issues of far more importance to the population as a whole

It was the tw@ts that bogged it down with their ‘genuine concerns’. After years of flinging any old shyte at the wall, this finally stuck

Anyway, it’s done and dusted and now Katie can concentrate on the real job, of hating gays, punishing people that put their washing out on a Sunday & all propped up by unionist parties. A golden new era. Well done everybody

The history is written here for all to see.

You're still a little red about the eyes thinking about Sturgeon getting the dunt.

This has always been the case. As long as people stay sound asleep this will remain. I believe they call it Capitalism.

I wasn’t. I maintain the view that people should be allowed to be happy, without fear, however they identify. Not my circus, not my monkeys.

I do think, though, that we are permitted to criticise utter failure of governments who fail to deliver on promises concerning key issues. Especially when they deceive the gullible with painted-on windies, and timmer funnels. Or fuuck up a census to such a degree that statisticians have commented on the worthlessness of data gathered due to the percentage shortfall below the desirable outcome.

They’re fûcking useless really, but talk in aspirational abstracts.

I've got no problem people criticizing the SNP or the Scottish Government. In many respects, they have been f*cking useless. They've been pretty good in other areas. Surely though it's better to have them in place, when you know every alternative is worse?

It’s Animal Farm again. Surely you don’t want Farmer Jones to come back?.

Vote for us. We’re useless, feckless cùnts, but not as bad as the other useless cünts.

Vote for the Least Worst option. Oh, and INDEPENDENCE [in the abstract].

Unfortunately, that’s our options. Continue with a middle of the road, fairly competent party with a few blunders on the record, or make it worse.

We seemed to have gone for option 2. Let’s get the bunting out
