We must be one of the only clubs in the football league who don't have a loan signing in?

Even Premier League clubs loan players, how do we not have any?

Haggling over transfer fees slow things down understandably (and frustratingly) but surely clubs send out 'available players for loan' lists? To not have picked up anyone seems a bit bizarre.

Yes that’s a strange one, maybe we wanted our own in shop window instead but things haven’t worked out

Top & bottom of it is TS needs a manager like Evans to challenge his budget. Not saying by much but enough.

Always remember what a close family member told me.When she worked for the council she was involved in a lot of the Stone/Stewart meetings.According to her, TS is a typical Yorkshire businessman, who if he could get away with spending 19p instead of 20p, he would.
And yes, i know its his money, to spend as he wants, but a lack of investment, usually only ends in a downward spiral, in my opinion.

A couple of reasons we have no loan players in yet, how many want to come and sit on the bench like last years crop, word gets around ?
Two we have to pay loan fees for anybody that are half decent !

Three we might save a months wages if we leave it until August

I believe that’s why Warne said there would be no signings until July ? So we would save on salary costs in June etc !

If you're good enough you play. Wing played, Giles played. Blackman played (longer than he should have IMO) until we realised Viktor is better, mercifully. Hirst didn't play because he did nothing. Jozefzoon was non existent most of the season so didn't play. If you're a good player you back yourself, back it up and you'll play.

    This season:

    - Giles, loan at Cardiff
    - Wing, loan at Wednesday
    - Jozefzoon, free agent
    - Hirst, back in Leicester youth team, nobody else has taken him
    - Blackman, free agent

Agreed about fees on loans is another stumbling block.

Some Premier clubs are reportedly asking 6 figure sums up front before loaning players.
Liverpool to Sunderland deal that broke down the other day and no reason given, not publicly anyway.
Not a chance of bringing the quality in that we need, dream on.

All the good prem loans don't go out until middle of August. All the ones not even close to being good enough go out early.
Patience boy. We may see some more details later. The 2 Trialist are looking positive.
