I believe the government set a limit which could be increased by applying to the venues Local Authority. The cynic in me has doubts that the SFA applied for it in the first place, maybe because of the teams involved!

However, it could have been restricted to 600 because of current virus goings on in Glasgow.

Will people from level 2 areas be able to travel to glasgow if it is still level 3 to watch the match?Said on tv was goverment who said only 600 were allowed but maybe for some reason SFA decided not to ask for more as you say because it is hibs v st johnston.

Noticed over 18's in the Blackburn & Darwen areas are to be offered the vaccine immediately to curb the spread of the Indian variant.

An extra thought and something that might ease peoples fears is i would like to see more information on the age range of the people being infected just now, and if anyone who has been vaccinated is testing positive.

I'm sure I read of an outbreak in a care home down south and 14 of the (all vaccinated) residents caught the virus. ALL survived...

Yeah, ive seen similar to what you and GB have both mentioned, but im more thinking about community transmission with over 90% of over 65s having their second dose.

Good to see you back GB!

I wonder if this Glasgow outbreak has anything to do with Ramadan with community being an important part of that? No racial intent in this, so please dont go there!
