What's untrue about what I have posted. Anyway's we're talking 1910-1922. What relevance does it have today? I grew up and went to school in Dundee as did many others. Some went to RC schools and others went to non-denominational schools. we all played football on a grassy bit of ground and no one gave a flying **** what school you went to. Some supported DFC and some supported DUFC and what school you went to and what team you supported never came into it apart from the odd wee Cellic boy and the odd wee Bun who's dad supported either cheek. Naebody that I remember ever brought religion into Dundee tft back then and it's only the odd bitter numpty (if the cap fits wear it) who does now.

It's sad that the bitterness you feel after the 6-2 humping makes you feel the need to introduce sectarianism in Dundee futba.

Dundee Hibernian was born out of one man's idea that like Glasgow and particularly Edinburgh the City of Dundee should have a football team representing the immigrant community considered at the turn of the centaury to be 40,000+ 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation. Unlike Edinburgh Hibs and Celtic Dundee Hibs never had any Catholic Church representation on the board and never at any time limited the signing of players to Catholics only. When I mentioned I briefly lived in Liverpool a few years back, his comment was that I would be used to the (irish catholic) slums there as that's where I was from in Dundee. Can I borrow sickened from you, as that's how I feel right now.
