Councillor Stewart Hunter was a disaster as the Education Convenor and he is also a disaster as the Chairman of the Dundee City Council Licensing Board.
Prior to becoming a full time Dundee City Councillor Stewart Hunter worked n the stores in NCR which in my opinion is another case of putting a square peg in a round hole.
I have previously had dealings with Councillor Hunter on a personal matter regarding the ‘coveri up’ at Kingspark Schooll when Michael Russell the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Life Long Learning knew nothing about it. Councillor Hunter would not listen to my comments which I made by email and it was a waste of time trying to reason with him.
Another Councillor promoted to his level of incompetence.

If you are going to complain about education you could at least check your post for spelling errors.

Anyone who thinks a councillor makes decisions based on which team they support has problems. Councillors going to the dump for functions? I am guessing the facilities there are more suitable for the needs.

As for having to go from the SE to the ticket office and back,why is anyone going to the SE first,when they know they need a ticket from the shop?

Saying that,the state of things at dens appears to be going downhill pretty quickly. When looked at individually,the hoses,the all ticket Derry, my own personal favourite,the less turnstiles open in the Derry when the OF are in town,are all pretty minor issues. Taken as a whole, combined with the on pitch issues,it becomes a problem.

Everything I see about the club just now seems a bit mediocre,and that is being generous,but claiming councillors have it in for us,and going to the Derry without a ticket are pointless.....

I know of at least one Angus councillor who hates and I mean hates DFC with a passion and one msp who hates dufc.

People are human.

I always made sure dabs got zero discount in my work and dees got the best deals.

If someone had claimed any politician did something petty to line their own pockets,. I might believe it. Doing something with no gain for anyone,I just can't see. Health and safety is the reason given,it almost makes sense when judged against other h&s decisions taken anywhere these days.

Clearing up the hoses won't make a difference. The hoses are a symptom of the general malaise around dens. If the place is a mess it's because nobody cares enough to clean it up. If nobody has any pride behind the scenes,how easy is it for the players to pick up on that,and get the same feeling?

If you email the club and get no response,how many times does that happen before you stop trying?

I think we have some of the best fans in the country,and a club that does not deserve them.

I sat for many a year on the community council in my area, not exactly the house of representatives but it did hold quite a bit of sway and some of the petty reasons councillors wanted to object to planning, how money was spent etc etc was beyond belief at times. Family feuds going back generations in some cases.

Can't have this agreement stuff going on,so I will say I think the stadium manager is doing a pretty good job given the circumstances,and that NM got a lot of stick he didn't deserve.

That should get things back to their natural order.....
