Yes the points will come off next season. Not completing their fixtures will more than likely mean a one or two window transfer embargo so they can’t bring players in that they couldn’t afford in the first place.

Several have also given 2 weeks notice that they are leaving. I suppose they could stay if it’s sorted quickly but if not they are likely to have a very small squad if there’s a transfer embargo.

It’s the EFL that’s talking about a transfer embargo as part of the punishment, that however was before they went into Administration.
Bolton still owe Forest Green Rovers £600k.
Clubs shouldn’t be allowed to bring players in that they can’t afford.
No surprise some of them are leaving to seek employment elsewhere.s

Will Bolton have players to play next year if the players leave and they have an embargo on them?

Was chatting to proctor. He mentioned the club was in financial turmoil when he was there. Looks like he had a narrow escape.
On a positive note. Is there anyone we should be looking at 😊 think vela was touted to be a decent player

Yes Vela was / is a decent player.....unfortunately he won't fit in with Paul Warne's squeaky clean image......Vela was thrown out of a restaurant a while ago for abusing staff...

Apparently Leeds are favourites to sign him.

Yes, Leeds made enquiries for him last year. Blackburn and other Championship clubs are looking to sign him. Absolute bargain, 25yrs old on a free transfer. Stand out player for Bolton in previous seasons. Bolton have valued him at £5m in the past.
First of many that could be leaving Bolton.

PW has had a whinge in the tiser saying we were interested in Doige but couldn't match Bolton,s offer so we missed out.
Bolton had the benefit of his services without paying for him.
The ultimate irony being that Doige scored the late goal at the nys. Two of the thirty six or so shipped from a winning position.

Bolton have faced a winding up petition 6 times in the last 18 months and yet they were allowed to make signings last summer.
Unlikely to happen but statement from the EFL would be appropriate.
