Don't want Abbott she would let half of Europes refugee's into the country, if she became prime minister, Abbott ought to be going along with the leader & his 2nd in command.

Unbelievably nearly 40,000 people voted for the incompetent clown in the general election! Surely they can only be people who have always voted Labour and still would do if the candidate was a turnip with a red rosette pinned to it. Come to think of it........🥺

I generally go on my head mate my heart just ends up broken lol 😢

You could switch teams but is it really a smart move after all you got to relearn club history and get to know a new fan base and if they do poor you got to pick a new team all over again, it’s a bit different ticking a box

Not necessarily mellow as a local PM she's does a lot of good work in her constituency and is very highly thought of .

She's helped a tremendous amount of people who faced real difficulty in their lives .

She should never have been brought to the front benches because the responsibility and media spotlight are beyond her .

Her skill set is at the heart of the tough London constituency she's represented for many years .

Picking a woman just to score politically correct points is just madness.

They need the best person that can bring the factions together and move the party forward. If that person just happens to be a woman then fair enough.
I agree the best person should get the gig but it don't work like that now does it .

Remember the shyte storm a few years back for Sports Personality when no women were selected for the final 6 , maybe there weren't any who had done anything ?

The other one that springs to mind was the Oscars a couple of years ago when no black people won anything or selected for nomination , maybe they hadn't done anything particularly good that year either .

Nobody had the balls to say that .

If Labour don't elect a woman then pound to a penny the same accusations will surface , guarantee it .

Ok so they want a woman, one that wanted remain, one that can make rash spending promises and isn’t one of the Corbyn old guard.

The ideal candidate is Jo Swinson !

Out of work, more than happy to jump ship and she lives up north somewhere

One of the sadest things last Thursday was Dennis Skinner losing his seat after nearly 50 years representing Bolsover .

I'd like to wish Dennis a happy retirement and I'll offer up a few memories of the great man , they don't and never will make em like Dennis .

Ladies and gentlemen Mr Dennis Skinner .....

At least with Dennis it was “exactly what it says on the tin”

But to be fair he is now 87 and has been creaking at the seams for years. With better planning the Labour Party ( with him involved) should have been lining up somebody to take over the reins in a smooth manner.

But in good Labour fashion they depended on this being a safe seat and Dennis carrying on until he dropped. But then along came Jeremy and Brexit.
