Didn't know Robertson was back in 10 days which does make a big difference. The last I heard he was gonna be out at least a month with his hernia. If thats true its very good news.

Thing is Roly. We only have 4 games before the window closes. Warne said on Thursday another 10 days before Robertson will be back training. That means by the time we play bristol on the 18th we will have Olosunde,Clark, mattock, Robertson,Ike,wood and possibly cooper to choose from obv that's if we don't get anymore injury's/sent off. Then We have 2 more games left before the window closes to fetch one in if needed by the close of the window Thompson will be back and Jones should be back training. IMO with the names above plus crooks n wiles who can cover when needed that's 10 or 11 players for 4 spots.

The manager is hardly likely to fetch anyone in till he knows which loanees are actually staying till end of season.
There may be bids for some of our contracted players as well.
Would expect him to bring someone in towards the third week of January, that's if there's anyone available that is actually better than what we have.

Even if somebody is back in training, that doesn't mean they are fit to play ... could just be "running on the grass" for all we know
Yep. Assuming he has had an op I would think a footballer would take at least 3 or 4 weeks before playing again. Somebody on twitter said Jones told them he was still 8 weeks away milertop.

It could be me who has MacDonald and Robertson mixed up though I'm sure it's the right way around
This is what warne said on Robertson so I guess it depends on what specialist says.
He's had a scan today and he's got a hernia problem. He is seeing a surgeon on Thursday. Whether or not it is operable I don't know. If it is, I don't think we'll be seeing much of Robbo in January put it that way.
"I don't honestly know, that is just my medical guess.
What warne said on MacDonald. 30th December
He's pretty close which is good. Shauny should hopefully be back soon- he's got this week and next week with the physio - then he should be in full training.
Warne on Jones. 5th December
unfortunately Billy's (injury) is a long one and I think his is about a six-weeker. He has had a week a;roght, but I do not think he will play again this year, which is a blow because I think he has been excellent for us. It is a massive blow.
