I agree 100 percent. Its just that puts to bed it can't be used even if it was any sort of issue. I have blocked all them on Twitter. Its obvious of the agenda.

George Caulkin tweeting that they're still "going back and forth over piracy"

Not quite the 'no red flags' line he'd been pushing recently.

    Hmmm

Can't recall anyone calling him a hero. Best of a bad bunch would be more accurate IMO.

He speaks and writes very sympathetically-and well- about us on the podcast and in The Athletic. I think he tries to be honest and has been fed a line by the Staveley camp as opposed to bullshitting.

With all of these piracy issues, I wonder if anyone at the premier league has taken the time to ask the Manchester City owners how they watch the team they own live considering Bein sports is also blocked in the UAE

The Premier League's executive director has said that the deal hasn't been blocked and that the process is ongoing.

I think Tuesday will be pivotal because that's when the WTO report will be made public although it's apparently come down on the side of the links existing.

That the Saudis are involved in some way will come as no surprise to anyone; I guess it all comes down to whether they can make the link between our prospective owners and the people behind the pirate streams.

And if the premier league can afford the legal fight

From their perspective, damned if they do, damned if they don't. You'd imagine there'd be clauses relating to Saudi piracy in their contract with Bein sports.

Could even be a question of whose chips they'd like to piss on the least (or...the most)

I'm in the camp that the league will say you need to buy the rights

    Deal passed

Half a bill in the bank
