A really important win for us on Saturday. For the first hour we started to show signs of what the side is capable of. The midfield was much better and Peter Pawlett was like a different player when running at defenders and committing them.

Lots of positives to take from that. One negative imo is that LS looks like a player who is completely pi55ed off. 100%. We're still creating nothing for him but it's bound to happen eventually. Another negative is that Edwards lack of pace was exposed in a back 4 when he might have had extra cover beside him in a 5.

Will be good to see how Fuchs does with a start under his belt, telling maybe that it was Harkes he replaced. We're getting good little breaks, the LS handball that wasn't given v the Sheep and Vigurs basketball effort on Saturday that went for us. Hopefully more to come.

The fact that Livi lost at home keeps the teams at the bottom under pressure. If we can go to Paisley and win on Friday night it would be massive.

I would like to put forward something as mitigation if i may!

First of all, their goal was quite well worked and would not have looked out of place in our team of old, basically 2 very quick passes defender to midfielder to attacker and goal. Second, 80 minutes into the game, Edwards like many other must have been tiring and was then left exposed by the aforementioned passed and a quick young lad who had been on the park for 7 minutes.

Would have liked the clean sheet, but things like this are gonna happen, and maybe other players getting into better positions may have prevented the ball making it 60 yards and past Edwards.

That's fair comment mate. Sometimes we don't give attackers the credit for good attacking play that leads to a well worked goal.
I wasn't blaming him for the goal just saying that in a back four there's more chance of that happening. The bonus was we were already 2 up.

Anyone mind the door presentations of Arthur Montford?
