    Not always about the strength.
Miller and Flo both have had some good games, maybe change in style isn’t helping them, some p,Ayers can only be good in certain styles/positions, take Wiles who could be a great footballer in his own position, does ok at LB but imo on the wing is just a no no, too much for him and that is not his fault

3 times this season I've shook my head at warned selection to suit the formation he's has chosen.

Wether it's 451 or 352 he has to play the right players to suit the formation.
If he plays 451 Smith has to be the 1. In the 5 midfielders he has to have barlaser If he plays 352 you can't play mattock and Harding as the wingbacks. FFS warne it's not rocket science.

When Robbins saw that team sheet with Wood and Mattock on it he must have been rubbing his hands, Walker and Biamou knew they would have an easy time getting round these slowmos.Warney must bring in Thompson for Wood and Clarke for Mattock. We cannot continue inviting trouble.Barlaser must now get in the middle to give some creativity and I would drop Smudge and play Miller with Ladapo.

Think I agree with most of that MB. Would still try Hirst and Freddy though

The problem is NOT the 352 formation as some are suggesting, it's the way the tactics are used with that formation. Everything you should NOT DO with a 352 formation was done! You cannot play a high press with the formation but we did, why?

You should NOT play hoof ball with that formation yet we did, Why?

When you have the ball you pass it to your playmaker and defend him so he can find a good attacking pass but we did not defend the ball or the playmaker, Why?

These are very simple things to do but Warnies tactics do not give our players the best chance of getting something from a game because in his eyes its all about staying in the game for as long as you can and that is not how you encorage your players to play football. No wonder the boot it up field option is always taken, they are scared to death to try and play football because they might get a frucking from the boss.

Poor tactics are what is costing us points not that we do not have the players etc. A manager with a better tactical skillset would make this team a better team and that is a fact.

Not so long ago we battered Coventry 4-0 at the NYS, and Coventry couldn’t live with our playing style.

Fast forward and we try to play the same way. Mark Robins knows this and plays a tactic to counteract that style.

He learned the lesson, whilst we continue as we always have.

Warney was that disappointed he didn’t even ask about Mattock’s injury

Tbh I’m not that interested in his injury, he should have been on bench anyway imo
