How can Fletcher and Hales be left out of the revamped England one day squad 🤷*♂️

Even though the opposition seemed very limited, this was still an excellent win. Notts did really well to score 307 on a pitch that definitely favoured the bowlers, and our attack took full advantage. It was also good to see 18 year old Schandendorf perform so well both with bat and behind the stumps after getting a last minute call up. The table is looking good.

As I see it Fletcher is seen as too old and Hales is seen as a bad boy. There will be worse options who do get the nod.

Two years between Fletcher (32) and Jake Ball (30). How old are Anderson and Broad?
Hales must have served his punishment by now and he is probably the most dynamic opener in England.

Hales will never ever return, nor should he, he lost their trust twice, what kind of moron takes drugs just before the World Cup.
Fletcher suffers from Samit belly. He will not be picked due to his fitness.

Yes, Hales is unlikely to return whilst Morgan is still skipper, which is fair enough in my opinion. Unfortunately, Fletcher is a one dimensional player as well as trying to keep up with Samit at meal times.

A bit like comparing Enzio to Messi. Anderson And Broad are among the best bowlers in the world and Fletcher really isn’t (as good a season as he is having)

As impressive as the big hitting was, Samit's spell of 2-0-7-1 was even more praiseworthy in such a shortened format. Luke Fletcher bowled one really poor over, but apart from that Yorkshire weren't given much to hit, which made it a stroll for the batsmen.
