Coach and owners need a reality check for this league, it’s horses for courses as they say.

Bromley, Grimsby, Halifax and now Chesterfield. The last four hard tests we've had we've failed.
I'm pretty tired of the conceit that we can play away at places like Chesterfield with one centre half. We're lightweight and it's a problem that Burch and the staff are refusing to address.

Yet again Brunt comes on, have we won a match with that useless piece of lard in the team?

After all the hype he's turned out to be a really poor loan. Has he done anything positive during his time with us? Southend fans made him sound like Messi.

IB messed that up why take two big men off when its clear we struggled on set pieces.

I said a few weeks back we need a Bishop/Strodder type you have to be able to deal with crosses.

I was genuinely hopeful with two defensive midfielders and having won the two previous away games that we had developed the resilience we needed, but clearly not. If formation changes don't improve the results then you've got to look at the style you play and the personnel you're trying to play it with. If the passing game isn't working then you've got to be able to kick the living sh*t out of the opposition and go more direct.

Bishop and Strodder could certainly do that!

The only player to come out of tonight with any credibility is Sam, the rest have been very poor.

Seems like we have been well and truly outplayed tonight. Ah well. Worse things happen at sea. And in Ukraine.
