Teams like us & motherwell should be nowhere near europe. Any half decent continental side is miles ahead of us in every way. Players that we can attract just cannot string a few performances together for a few games let alone most of a season. One good show in 10 & they think thats good enough. Its like they just arent bothered. No personal pride in being the best they can be week after week. Absolutely hacked off with modern football & modern footballers. It hasnt helped having a new manager,new players & next to no games before we played in europe but if these players dont bust a gut for the next 6 months then the fans are more than entitled to give everyone of them a hard time. Last week was great but if we can scrape not being bottom that will do me. Whats the point of making europe if thats what you experience?

If he hadn't done the dirty and messed it for himself he'd have been a big player for us again as he was in great form before that happened, in fact the back three with him, Edwards and Graham was better than the one with Mulgrew in it when he got back from injury

With a DM and back three like late last season we may have kept things a bit more respectable tonight, instead we got a humiliated, not helped by the timing of the goalie throwing in the third

What an utter embarrassment that was. Many to blame but for me that keeper can get a 1 way ticket back to Aus. Be interesting to see where we go from here.

It is wasn't positivity, it was a comparison, meaning we had a manager who set us up better at tougher venues with a gameplan and we didn't collapse

Hopefully the manager and players make this up to us big time

That was absolutely shocking to watch and very embarrassing too . Jack Ross must take full responsibility for that shambles tonight. I've already got serious doubts that he is the man to take us forward - would Tam Courts have done any worse - if he had been given the financial backing Ross has had?

Worrying, such a key position and thought we'd signed a decent one.... we were lucky to have Benji for a few years, it really does determine how well you will do as a team, you need someone reliable

You make some good points but would it be also fair to say we're still in transition from a team that was battling to stay in the division under Mellon to a team that can genuinely compete for European places. Why would we want to be in Europe - the same answer as 7 days ago because if you can get through to the group stages it's big money for a club of our size. And that in turn leads to more investment in players.
Imo to say we shouldn't bother is wrong though.
