Agree with above......for basics I'd say fundamentals......absolute foundation stone of running a football club.

Take the fans with you should be the building block for everything......not alienate, ignore and now and again patronise.
All we ever hear from John Nelms is his new stadium development at Campy Nou but nothing about what is currently happening with Dundee Football Club.
The Dundee Football Club management did not even make a public statement apologising for the seats covered in bird droppings in the South Enclosure Stand nor informing the Dundee supporters what they have done to ensure that this never happens again.
It has been getting to the stage that the Dundee supporters are having to put on their old clothes to sit on the seats at Dens Park because they have bird droppings on them.
However the seats in the Directors Box are spotless because they have a cover over them.

So that's the doomsday clock stopped ticking for now, I'll restart it when the new season starts.

80 odd days and not even the head spinner himself but it's an answer.

Well done everybody who contributed to this thread........ain't over though, just in abeyance.😉

Linda's just been on STV announcing the Gardyne tie up. No seriously, announcing it. And the 'new stadium' got a mention too, must be near season ticket sales time.

What have I missed? Just seen TV about the link with the college etc. Great PR for College but still not much news about Campy, and the same old stories about Dens being expensive and not appropriate.

I received this information over a week ago.
It is very disappointing that the management of Dundee Football Club have not issued a public statement confirming that the seats in the South Enclosure which previously had the bird droppings problem now have covers over them.
It costs nothing for the DFC management to issue a public statement stating that the seats in the South Enclosure have been cleaned and they are now protected by covers.
People sitting the Bobby Cox Stand last night should have been able to see if the seats in the South Enclosure had covers on them

About half of them were covered, the half nearest the Bobby Cox Stant weren't covered

That is a poor show by the management of the club as the seagulls are not fussy where they deposit their droppings. Surely all the seats in the South Enclosure should have been covered if they have been deep cleaned by a firm of contractors.
