Well either way this will be getting bumped by either me or one of the 'we're doomed' brigade come end of season
Also please don't post shyte as I've never said we were too good to go down, there aren't many in the bottom half that are too good to go down
Based on results since Ross was punted we are no worse than 6 other teams and I don't believe we will go down, could be a very interesting battle we end up in come spring time
We shouldn't be changing manager again, Fox has us in the mix just going by results since he took over and that's includes two visits to Glasgow, since September begun nearly every team has taken 7-10 pts, including us
August's 1 point from 5 games is why we are currently bottom on our own and why the goal difference is poor.. A win on Wednesday would be a huge result, we could then try and upset the Sheep's good recent home record next Saturday, we have it in us, need a steady performance from the keepers though!
Being no worse than 6 other teams(that are obviously above us)means very little when you are bottom of the league as it still amounts to one thing......that we're still bottom of the league. We need to get wins, especially against the teams around us and starting with the game in midweek. This game is massive now or we will gradually start getting cut off from the others above us and before we know it we're running out of "winnable" games.
I still think we have the outfield players to do it but the goalie situation WILL relegate us.
Taking what you say and looking at each set of 11 games, 2 of what people generally consider as winnable games are already past and we have no points from them and the nae chancer, then we have 2 games where i really cannot garner any confidence that we will get any more than 2 points where we really need all 6.
Knowing how our luck is so polar opposite to last season, i can see Coonty, St Johnstone and Motherwell making space before the break.
That leaves us with 6 games in 4 weeks where i ask what will be winnable? Livi A, Hearts H, Coonty H, St J A, Rangers H, Hibs A? On current evidence, none of them! I really do hope that the players who grace the pitch in the next 8 games prove me wrong.
The performance & scoreline today was a whole lot better than we all thought.
So it's good we've got a game on Wednesday & a winable one too.
3 points v Killie will make us all feel a whole lot better.
You're only as good as your last game.
We've been thro it all before - keep the faith.
