    Meanwhile I'm in London and had completely forgotten you can't watch online from the UK. Doh.

    Notts have a tendency to lose momentum in the second halves of games, thankfully not usually as dramatically as today. I'd be noting that as an oppo manager.

    KC!... just when we needed a captain to steady the ship... he was busy rocking the boat! Baldwin was almost as suicidal. Even Matty Palmer.

    I thought we looked jaded generally, as if the sublime first half against Swindon killed us for most of the next game and a half.

    After the first 20 minutes today we just never moved through the gears, but, skipping over what shouldn't be a distraction midweek, we will defo be up for the Mansfield game. Our record against them is so bad you never know but my guess is we'll see the unstoppable side of Notts again.

    Cam and Baldwin should be dropped for Derby imo. Lets see what's behind them in the pecking order

    They will be left out as will a lot of today’s starting line up for the game v Derby …but they won’t be dropped

    fair enough. That's probably a distinction with a difference in this case.

    I'd also think about giving Morias the whole game, although these games are so mismatched AND pointless that it's hard to know how we can best make the most of them.

    [QUOTE=countygump;40368318]Highlights:

    Couldn't get today so just seen highlights. Cameron isn't unlucky, it's clumsy and looks a penalty.
    Baldwin remonstrating with the linesman at the end when the guy's clearly onside.
    Looks like we were lucky to leave with a point.

    Barrow aren't mugs, we were caught short today, it's a learning curve. Onwards and upwards.

    The theme is there’s an opposition that comes out for a second half that have to try and get back into a game.
    I disagree that we were poor in the second half against Swindon. They were a very good team that had nothing to lose. We saw out that second half without capitulating.
    If we’re setting the bar that every minute of every game has to be a dominating performance then we’re setting it too high IMO.

    Exactly this. Not every performance is going to be a good one, but we’ve got used to those over the past 15 months. There are days where things just don’t flow, and then the aim has got to be to grind out a result, which is what we did yesterday. Our small squad size is going to hurt us more this season, though.
