Absolutely he should've been sent off, but it's essentially irrelevant now as Crawley get another, and Scott Lindsey has got them playing some brilliant stuff, I think we missed a trick if we didn't even contact him when LW left.

Yes, we missed a trick there & Lindsey. You would've thought he impressed when they saw him twice at ML last season

Just mentioned on Sky that Crawley Owners work like Notts on players with data etc

Wonderful to see the fake club getting humiliated, even though it means we have to suffer them again next season.

The other downside is that we are inferior to Crawley and Crewe.

Wow! That is how to turn possession football into a real performance. That was possession based on technical ability and progression not just passing it backwards away from the danger zone. A world away from what we have been doing post-Luke and surely the blue print for what we should be looking to do.

Would never have predicted a Crawley v Crewe final. Not good news for those clubs expecting to be in the mix for promotion next season that Donny and MKD are staying in L2 for another year but sadly that probably won't include Notts.

We made Doncaster look awful last season, we got 2 points from MK Dons who will no doubt cut costs again and probably get rid of Williams now. Neither should be feared. When we were in full flow, we were the best team going forward, if we can address the defence, there is no one we should fear

Absolutely. Cut down the silly goals conceded and we are as good as anyone in that division

Scott Lindsey would have been my choice after Crawley 's two defeats at ML .
Best performance I've seen at this level in last night's game. Total football , great pressing and defensively sound too
Jay Williams was superb and opened the scoring after pressing, robbing a defender and scoring with a great finish . Not bad for a CB !
Orsi scored 3 and his improvement under Lindsey has been outstanding considering he only scored about 4 in total at Grimsby.
5' 6" Liam Kelly totally ran the game Matty Palmer style and said he joined Crawley in January because no other club offered!
As mentioned Crawley source players statically too and seem to find some competent defenders in the bargain. Even Chessie reject Maguire looks to have improved considerably.
Crawley deserve promotion but I'd rather us be rid of Dark Arts Alexandra and Grizzly Road

Those two games against Crawley at Meadow Lane were what football should always be like - two teams going for it and playing an exciting, attacking brand of football. At the time, I thought Lindsey would be perfect for Notts but that it would be very hard to entice him away from a team in the same division that’s going well. I’d be surprised if he weren’t on the Reedtz bros’ radar, though, if things don’t improve under SM.
