To take that Wembley penalty after missing the one against Wrexham, shows the character of the man.
I wish him great success and hope he finds the peace in his life.

Best of luck Cedwyn! Sure there's a quality football league striker given a run of games - his near post shots were a treat.

... thank you Cedwyn. You will not be forgotten ... from one of the great games, away at Wrexham, to that sublime moment at Wembley. Go well young man, we'll be watching from afar ...

Was more or less behind the goal, never like penalties that go down the middle. Archie likely would have saved it. But it did the job to the joy of the better half of the stadium. Good luck whatever may have happened since. Long walk though along the Hadrian's Wall to Gateshead.

Looking at the table he might well be plying his trade in the NL again, and hopefully we'll not encourage Carlisle to do otherwise.

Good luck Ceds, gave me my best ever memory as a Notts fan?.i still get shivers watching his penalty. Really wanted it to work out for him here, clearly wasn?t meant to be for some reason.

Thanks for everything and all the best at Carlisle. Not really bothered about what has or hasn't gone off here and I know his dad watches that Magpie Circle so I hope no one's gonna say owt daft on there if it's on tonight.

Agreed - but I think his personal farewell would be a little different. He’s not going to come out and say f**k you all is he?

We showed our gratitude on the day, he'll get a good reception as all ex players do

I think this is the issue with one a front. A Scott back to full fitness and showing the ability he showed in the NL I have no doubt would be a competent back up to Jatta. The issue is who wants to be a back up?
He?s not a 10 in our system either as he?s not nimble/creative enough. We basically need another Didzy is some mould, one that can play 10 and 9 in our system, that way they?ll get more game time. The other alternative short term would be a journeyman or young No9 both accepting less minutes.
