Just went out to my local Asda and even the old wifies that work there are talking about how great it was for Aberdeen to win the Scottish Cup
The whole city is buzzing and its great to see.
Agree DeeDon.
Here by way of return:
Fun facts list of AFC Scottish Cup winners NOT born in Scotland
1947 Stan Willams South Africa.
1970 Henning Boel. Denmark
1982, 83, 84 Neale Cooper Darjeeling, India, Neil Simpson London
1986, Neale Cooper, Darjeeling
1990: Theo Snelders, The Netherlands, Paul Mason, Liverpool, Hans Gillhaus, The Netherlands
2025 Mitov (Bulgaria) Jensen (Finland), Dorrington (Enfield - so joint second Londoner after Simmie), Knoester (The Netherlands), Palaversa (Croatia), Clarkson (Blackburn), Keskinen (Finland), Tobers (Latvia), Morris (London, so joint second Londoner after Simmie), Polvara (USA), Dabbagh (Palestine); Gu?ye (Senegal). Unused subs: Doohan (Ireland)
Only six Scots this year, including unused sub Boyd. 13 born outside Scotland ? so almost half of the total number among the previous sever winners? teams.
BUT the main thing ? all the above are forever Aberdeen loons. Even if they are from glesga, or going back to rasellackbytheway?.

Went to the shops today and I spied both the P&J and EE with fitba specials in them.
Bought them both, gets home to read them and discover it's exactly the same articles and pictures feature in both.😂
Ah well. A fool and his money is easily departed.
Me too. I usually buy everything blatt-wise, and have labelled plastic carriers in the loft from every successful season - as if being a Red is not a mark of success on its own - including 30 April 1967, my first trip to a Hampden cup final. These two will join the archive.
When purchasing the pair in Big Tesco, I turned every tabloid with its back page featuring The Only Event Of The Weekend round to commemorate our triumph. I also concealed the Times, the Telegraph, and other unworthy news sources using the same system.
Neither Asda nor Tesco seem to have stocked hun and tim birthday cakes since the campaign on one of the former sites was successful in guerrilla-raiding said supermarkets and inflicting damage on said cakes whilst picking them out to inspect them. I checked anyway.
My loon come up last night, with a present for me...A copy of yesterdays P&J.
It's the thought that counts and he blagged a free supper, which I am sure was his plan, though he never needs.
On the birthday cake front, none of the then old firm cakes ever hit the shelves at Sainsbury Garthdee, when I was a baker years ago. Same with the England ones.
Hurting.
Like.
Fcuk.
And entitlement is dripping out of my laptop.
Beautiful.

That is a truly sensational bit of writing.
Of course when the Tims do it constantly in Europe - Atalanta away this season being a prime example - that is absolutely tactical genius.
Not that Im gonna go looking, but I will bet the dribbling idiot who typed that blog has an article saying pretty much exactly this from just after that game.
To be fair, most Tims Ive seen commenting or spoken to have been pretty fair minded and said well done - theres always a few with entitlement overload though - so fuuck them..
