Today's corona virus infection figures from Italy are not good, and show that the measures taken by the Italian government are yet to have much effect. Just hoping that we don't get into the same situation by doing nothing much so far.
The situation in China seems to be improving now, but only after the big cities have been largely shut down for a while

Just about all professional sports cancelled here now (NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS) and golf's 5th major the Players Championship will be spectator-less from tomorrow. Even 'amateur' sports like the college basketball end of season tournament is cancelled. I say 'amateur' as although the student athletes don't get paid the governing body were budgeting at least $1B income from TV rights.
Confined to home and nothing to watch on TV!

I don't know how it can fairly carry on with players catching it now. We would be burgered if our key players couldn't play because they were self isolating. Playing behind closed doors wouldn't help that. The problem is how long would we need to suspend the season this could go on for ages. Best solution is to end the season now with the league's as they are 😀
