You can only go to the well so many times before it runs dry , just one question in regards to season tickets do you still pay for yours a year in advance?

Nae idea only on periodically these days. 6-2 is a pumping but in all honesty we started the league pretty brutal but in reality shud be at least 4/5 points better off. Still hope to challenge for the league but hearts squad shud really win it.

However in the defence of our owners, the money that has been invested (note INVESTED) to date has been desperately required to start to make up for the absolutely horrific schitshow that was the previous owner where there had been a complete and utter lack of investment in the Club from top to bottom which had resulted in us deteriorating under his watch from a top three team winning trophies and qualifying for Europe to a mid table Championship team struggling to get promotion with a non existent youth policy dying on it's feet. Yes, there has been a lot of money spent over the last two years but in contrast to before, the changes are obvious. Electronic season tickets, online ticket purchasing (which directly lead to easy sell outs like last season's derbies), Elite Youth Academy status, extensively refurbished hospitality suites, better playing squad.

I mean c'mon tae phuck, yes finance is concerning (when is it never) but gie the owners a chance for christ sake. Remember the Snake and get a grip.

All comes down to covid, no point looking back to money spent when in Jan 2019 the squad needed an overhaul, and a good few of the players signed then won us the league and have us top six right now, things would have been much better financially on the back of promotion and all that comes with it, crowds of 7-8k minimum most weeks and more for bigger games etc, we just need to back the club through this period best we can, think Ogren deserves that too

We've made mistakes during this. Questions can be asked of if we should have done stuff or not but it's unprecedented times so not sure anyone knows what was the best thing to do at these times. Lose Lose either way.

There must be so many easier ways to turn a profit than investing in a Scottish Football club.

If not for covid there was a decent chance to make a profit, doing things right, the game has been changed by circumstances unprecedented

I've just listened to the podcast. Mike Barile was no contest for Tom English or Daryl Broadfoot. Barile can't talk on behalf of the club, but only as one supporter; he does not represent United or United supporters. It should have been made clear that all his thoughts/opinions were his own.
Also, calling Tony Asghar "naive", and he (TA)" hasn't grasped the situation" will go down well with TA.
