It’s been down, unusable for 3 days.

I wouldn’t want lightbulb IT looking after my IT stuff that’s for sure. Fair play for replying on their board but it’s 3 days now - you need to rollback at least and lose the messages as it’s unworkable.

The site wasn’t too bad last night and this morning but it’s down again (unusable) since 1pm.

I’m pretty sure lightbulb IT are doing a good job at trying to resolve but you’d have thought they’d have a test version and release.

I have 3 for my application, test, DR and live and push changes that way.

Leaving a live site live while they try to fix it is really bad practice.

I don't know why they seem determined to stick with EasyDiscuss. I remember they said that they would lose user posts if they switched to Discourse, but surely that is still better than not being able to access the site at all?

I don’t blame the mods as they were probably pressured into upgrading, the issues with the provider.

But I agree it’s maybe time to admit defeat with it and move over.

I do have sympathy as I implemented a messsgeboard for an escort site I was tricked into making and it was the bane of my life - I’m glad I got rid of it quick!

I sold my services on gigable thinking I was building a site for cars, it’s when I got paid a fairly big sum and the images came I realised my mistake.

It was hitting 100k users a day at one point, before they took it over themselves and eventually closed down.
