Granted Big Sam got us promoted the next season but didn’t he not get a win out of Notts for 20 odd games and I read somewhere said players weren’t doing what he told them? In some situations the odds are just stacked against you, Ardley didn’t get us relegated, it’s been coming for years from awful owners who have bought us cos of our name and their ridiculous belief they can get us in the championship and beyond because of that which lead to stupid decisions. The last one being 30-40 pros on the books with no ability or thinking about how it was going to work, how could he build a siege mentality with 20 odd players plus moping around the club not wanting to be there.

Suppose we just have to beg to differ, none of us are going to change our minds

@Davy, yes if someone watches the game their comments have more credibility than someone who listened to someone else watching it and they in turn have more credibility than someone who didn't watch or listen and just read the scoreline after the game finished.

@Pedro that's my point in this league you can positively or negatively spin every opponent in this league. The 'No Agenda' crew can say we are bigger then them (Torquay), I've never heard of them (Wealdstone), they are out of form (Chesterfield), they used to be 2/3 divisions below us recently (Stockport) , you can do it for every side and all of the above have or will happen. People choose to ignore the league table about our opponents but never about Notts???? Funny that

It's not looking good for top spot too many poor performances to be confident but teams drop points. That's football. Nobody was talking about Torquay as being early runaway leaders at the start of the season. If they keep up anywhere near the form they are in now they will deserve the title and we can have no complaints

yes there is loads of spin , but amongst the spin are facts that you refer to as spin.
Fact is we have dropped points to a handful of bottom 5 teams , now the pro Ardley camp come up with spin to Gloss over this fact.
Now no matter how you dress this up you cannot escape the fact , that it is a fact.

It will be interesting to see where the teams who were bottom 5 when we dropped points against them are at season's end. They could well still be in the bottom 5 of course but maybe not?
