In fairly short order, Hart, Birtles, Pike were left in no doubt that their time was up and that the new manager wanted younger, more athletic, hungrier players who were up for the battle week in, week out.

I suspect if Neil Warnock walked through the door now, Michael Doyle's seeming exalted status would be very quickly diminished.
Agreed. It is strange that he keeps playing regardless of performance. I know he's had a great career but there comes a time to admit that Old Father Time is catching up fast.

We got out of jail there as Yeovil could have had a third with that Yeovil chance that trickled passed Slocombe and just went wide.

Agreed, especially re. Wootton. He desperately needs a rest to refresh his game.

Never thought I would wish for it but if we go down by 4 or 5 may be we will be an Ardley free zone by lunchtime.

You see that's what I thought but seems no shape at all in that midfield.

We are in with a (very) long shot of the title, need 3 points or at least a point and you wish we could lose 5-0 just so the manager gets sacked in the morning? Interesting approach.
