Hartlepool become the 2nd club to do the double over us since we dropped into tier 5 (Aldershot the other).
A 10 match unbeaten run on the road comes to an end.

The keeper has not had a save to make today. Not one shot on target and thus we deserved nothing from that.
8 defeats this season after 30 games must now put any hope of automatic promotion to bed, not that I thought we have ever looked like an automatic promotion team.
Hartlepool have shown us today what is required to be challenging at the top and what we lack and that is energy, intensity, aggression and precision passing with the ball and confidence. It's blighted us all season and will continue to do until the end. Likewise we are not consistent and can't build a five or six game winning run that is required.
We should have been full of confidence going into this game, but first half we were just too timid.
Playoffs at best this season is my conclusion and the injury to Cal Roberts is a big blow as well, certainly as that attacking threat and intent has been timid this season.Last edited by MAD_MAGPIE; 10-04-2021 at 06:16 PM.

Wasn't great but I'm waiting till at least next season before judging IB, I think he knows what's wrong just needs the personnel to do something about it.

A very easy way to know if Notts will win a game.... put it live on tv! our record on tv is absolutely shocking.... that was all kinds of awful today
the way things are going we might squeak a playoff spot but all the teams around us are winning regularly so it will be close
