Great in particular to read the positive comments on Sam and even more so Francis, nobody was expecting that before kick off.

As others have mentioned time to take full advantage of the favourable looking (on paper) upcoming games.

Sounded full value for money and top entertainment today thanks to IB and the boys and all in front of a big crowd to boot.
Brilliant Laddo- just smile knowing we bagged the 3 points - i laughed my head off lol

Used to hearing rants but it was one of the most bitter interviews I have heard.

I like to think that Burchnall wouldn't be like that. They might have richer owners (might) but we imo have a far better coach.

Agree. And I don't think Burchnall would give an interview like that either.

Especially loved his comment that the linesman made a judgement call on whether the ball had crossed the line. Isn't every decision a judgement call?

Chucks it a decent distance though!

    Think he said both.

He needs to read the laws of the game if he thinks that handball wasnt a sending off offence

Really looking forward to seeing the highlights regarding the many contentious decisions the ref had to make. Wrexham fans are insisting our equaliser was offside in the build up, and it wasn't a penalty. Also, they doubt the ball crossed the line for our third. My view wasn't a good angle for either but my gut feeling is that the ref got them right, although why the lino didn't flag for our third is mystifying. I was out of my seat celebrating, then sat down in agony, then a muted celebration when it was finally given.

At least it gave me an insight as to how you celebrate VAR goals a minute after it was scored!

I was 3 yards off the goal line when it went "in". I confess that me and those around me thought it too close to call. Linesmen are told to run back to the centre circle if they think it's a goal. The lino did this but he set off late for some reason. This meant that when the ref initially looked across the lino wasn't moving so the ref played on. Then when the ref looked for the second time the lino was running back so he gave the goal.

In terms of Parkinson, I've always thought that when a manager (or other) makes a remark that show that they don't know the laws and interpretations, then they should be suspended until they've passed the referee's exam. In Parkinson's case that would probably be several years.
