He’ll get more game time now we are playing 2 up front. He looks stronger than he did when he joined us and he seems to be extremely driven.

You're right, even if it's off the bench (not saying he won't start games) a great option to bring on plus pushing Scott and Langstaff to keep performing as well. If we could click behind the front we'll be a dangerous team against anyone this season.

Whilst I can't criticise his effort, I thought JOB was terrible. If he didn't give the ball to them, he was kicking it out. Admittedly, he did provide the cross for Scott's goal.

Even though I lost a few quid on bets, I can only take positives from today. We had a thumping win, our goal machine added a couple more to his tally, his buddy from last season also scored, TAR resurfaced, and we actually had a youth player on the bench. From reports it might not have been pretty, but apart from that what's not to like?

In other results Stags lost, and my adopted Portuguese team who play in black and white stripes (Portimonense) who I plan to cheer on in person next month currently occupy a Champions League place in the Portuguese Primeira Liga. All I need now is for Tottenham to do the business tomorrow, and this will be close to the perfect weekend.

He knows who he is, but can't spell his name right!

Overall it wasn't a great game, but 2 key moments in the first half changed the course of the game. Up to the goal, it was reasonably even.

Langstaff's goal was obviously the first key moment. Then very shortly after taking the lead, Slocombe pulled off an unbelievable save to keep us ahead. Within another couple of minutes we were 2-0 up and game over.

Big game for them next at home to fellow strugglers Shrewsbury, then home to Accy.
To be honest if we had to have either Burch or Ardley back, I'd rather have Burch, it's FGR's chairman that I really can't stand but it could well turn out to be the case that Burch will ruin his career moving there whilst Ardley ultimately re-establishes himself in the EFL.

I won’t be following their results but feel free to let us know if they lose( I’m sure you won’t bother if they win)
