    O/T:- HM's health and hands

    Seeing the photos of the Queen receiving the Truss I was somewhat taken aback at the state of her hands. Of course normally we only see gloves.

    Other than that she does look well.

    She's beginning to show her age. 96 - I reckon she is doing pretty well.

    They’ve been saying for a while on the BBC that the Aldershot game was going to be off. Perhaps they had inside info…

    King George VI died on Wednesday 6th February 1952, Notts played at home to Blackburn three days later.
    1997 our home game v Scunny was put back a day to Sunday as Diana's funeral was on the Saturday.
