Thread: First team squad new players

  1. #141
I'll keep this up to date folks every time a new player for the first team squad arrives at Leeds United this season (and prices if they're to be believed)

    Ethan Ampadu - 7m
    Karl Darlow - 400k
    Sam Byram - Free
    Joe Rodon - Loan
    Joel Piroe - 10m
    Djed Spence - Loan
    Ilia Gruev - 5m
    Glen Kamara - 4m

Maybe we should have offered Carroll a chance to have a last hurrah in the EFL before he hangs up his boots, especially on a free?

Better still, we could really do with Allan.

(Wonders how many dyslexics are out there)

No doubt we have a much better squad now. I'm shocked we didn't get a LB in. Maybe DF thinks Byram when fit and Shack are good enough. He's possibly correct but that natural left sided balance is missing.
It's a shame we dropped so many points early on. I fear this will count at the end of the season.

People say Gnonto MOM? All he did was dribble but name one cross he made that created a chance. Summer looked okay but again name on the shot or setup he made. Summer should shoot every chance he gets but hold it too long and gnonto shoot cross much earlier than trying to do Harrisons tricks off too much.
Shak was by far the MOM for me the rest well not so much apart from Monsieur Mel.
Positive was Spence big strong type that can play and has pace huge improvement on Ayling.
Negative Farke not impressed so far hope I eat my words.

Bookies have us at very short odds to finish top 6 and 4th favourites for automatic promotion for what it’s worth

The bookies tend to be very accurate! You don't make billions of dollars on "hunches".
