You can write all you like Newish Pie, but you will always have a left wing bias, which is fair enough and why you see GB News as hard right wing, and why I, with more right leaning views do not see it as hard right. I am also sensible enough to watch it and be able to disagree with some of the views of the more right of centre presenters. I see the people who are trying to bring it to it's knees as, kids, who have been brought up being shielded from competition, and that they always have to be right. Poor little dears.

See, I can't tell whether you actually literally mean this, or whether it's just a bit of humour or hyperbole and I'm guilty of taking everything too seriously. Which.. yeah, I can do.

But if you do mean it literally, I don't think that's correct at all. We're surely all capable of disagreeing on all kinds of things without concluding that the people we disagree with are bad people. This 'writing off' of people we disagree with is a feature of US politics and one I very much want the UK to avoid, and demonising opponents ("the lefties" etc) is a big part of that. Convincing your team that the other team hate you, and that therefore you should hate them, is one way this starts.

Haha 'the Establishment, which is about as far right as they come', that has got to be the funniest thing, since LW rode an E-scooter up Weekday Cross

I'm glad it amused you, but it isn't what I said.

Newish Pie, my comment about 'thinking the same as Lefties', was aimed in particular at two or three members of this board, and the very hard line left wingers. Whatever you think about right of centre politics, those with that viewpoint are generally more likely to agree to disagree, rather than resulting to patronising comments, and hate speech, which ironically they 'made a thing'.

Och Pie please explain what you did say then.

The UK has not, in my mind, had a more right wing Establishment than it has currently.

The UK has never had a far right Establishment, thankfully.
