If you’re talking about Laurence Fox, what he said was very nasty (and immature). I’ve got no sympathy for him.

What nightmare is that? The nightmare as a result of 13 years of a Tory government?

I think 'they' just want GB News to follow the same regulations as other broadcasters.

That is absolutely rubbish Woody, you only have to see the members of Ofcom to see how biased they are.
Why was Jo Brand not banned/clamped down in for saying she wished acid had been thrown at Nigel Farage. Also Miriam Margoyyles faced no Ofcom investigation after wishing that Boris Johnson would have died from Covid. Lovely people I am sure.
Wake up and smell the coffee. When the government left or right can do as they wish, unchallenged, you might be wishing for a GB News type opposition to it all.

Why did he say it, what triggered it?

What Lawrence Fox said did not deserve the outcry it got from msm, they are obviously running scared after the latest viewing/ listening figures.

What he said was too much even for so-called-GB-so-called-News own management. The same management that not only turned a blind eye to Wooton-Gate but rather than suspend him, gave him a platform to rail against his accusers and claim conspiracy. Fox's comments were an absolute disgrace, and even his own bosses thought so.

Stop trying to defend the indefensible.

My eye sight is fine thank you. I was not talking about individual gob ****es, but to your initial point about Ofcom. It isn't right right for a broadcaster to have two Tory (MPs) interviewing a Tory Chancellor.

Lol Woody, it was totally ok for two Tory MP's to interview a Tory chancellor, it was just the questions that were not balanced enough. For that matter, the supposedly neutral BBC having three people from the same political leaning, debating the Lawrence Fox issue, something for which they have since belatedly admitted they should have done better. Laughingly saying they couldn't find anyone to add balance.
EP you are truly obsessed with the Tories, if only it were that simple.
