I was middling at best with SM start of the season, never liked the BT engineer jibes as I respect anyone who grafts to make it at something like he has with his managerial career. He’s showing quite a lot of tactical astuteness in getting results, I’d say more than LW tbf, SM will change it if he believes it will get result.

    Thanks.

Surprisingly not as many as there were at either of the last two occasions we visited that ground in the NL.

I wonder if the ground regulations are a bit more stringent in the EFL than they are in the National League. Bromley were tweeting in advance of the match that there were only limited tickets remaining.

Did anyone else notice the sign in the away end apologising for the quality of the infrastructure and showing their plans to develop the open terrace along the side?

agree. Really liked LW, but SM is showing signs he's building on LW's legacy, kind of thing! I also like that we're now allowed to hoof it again when necessary!

Flattering write-up by a Bromley media outlet.

It's almost like the owners knew what they were doing.

Which is weird because as a Notts fan I'm not used to that either

I just noticed that 3,322 was the attendance given for their last home match vs Crewe. So not sure I trust it now.

Could be their max att under league guidelines? Beeb reporting exactly the same att.

Yeah I've been to a few games at Bromley and this was the biggest crowd I've seen there
It's never 'packed' as there is a lot more capacity than the number they have a safety certificate for
The local guy I talked to on Saturday said that it was a sell out but that Palace and Millwall were both at home the same day so that would have affected demand from fans who have Bromley as their second team

Really interesting to see it from an oppositions viewpoint.
