In this situation, both the idea and practice of releasing a statement saying nothing is happening would be tremendously odd. Imagine releasing a statement based on the 2+2=ing of Mad.

I nearly referred to Paul Maces comments cos hes got quite a decent record for having an inside track, but his sources have obviously let him down on this one.
