Jason Leitch says full stadiums by August 10th if we continue on current course with vaccines and low hospitalisations.

Asked if football stadiums can be full, he replied:

“They can on August 10th, but we’ve had to learn that new word remember, that ‘indicative’ word. So we have given advice that says ‘with a fair wind, the trajectory we are presently on, with vaccinations’.....this six weeks buys us quite a lot of vaccine time.

“So if we can get that in, and people come, that’s the important thing that people can do, then yes we hope that August 9th/10th can happen.”

It does appear that hundreds possibly thousands got the virus around the England v Scotland match. There was a well known pub in Dundee where it seems nearly everyone in it that Friday got Covid and i'm not exaggerating.
Loads of people from all over Scotland have admitted that large groups of them contracted the virus going,in or returning from London.

I know a few who were doon sooth for that weekend and have since tested positive, but they should not be vilified for enjoying the event. Anyone who is catching this just now is generally unvaccinated, asymptomatic or showing hay fever symptoms, and this is why the schools are riddled with Covid just now, and why its spreading so easily.

I really don't care anymore mate,if people are not worried about getting Covid then just let them get on with their lives. The only thing i do ask of them is they isolate when they know they have it.

Been past caring for a while myself, but i always have that thought in my mind that someone i might come into contact with could be asymptomatic. My kids are all in the age group for that first graph shared above and the 2 that still stay here are living their lives, so again, i have to think about that.

Im double dosed so in 2 weeks, im invincible!
