Yeah its a lovely thought indeed but there is zero hope of JR ending up back here any time soon. Just turned 31 and plenty left in the tank.

Just read the story and it was from 21 May, so things could have changed since then. I do remember an interview with him a couple of years ago where he said he wanted to come back to Tannadice before his career ended

It did certainly seem to be a backtrack sort of comment but Maybe he is just being coy and not wanting to over commit on something? I don't know just trying to figure him out with his comments tbh

What the manager said was "before we jump straight into the transfer market, I want to cast an eye over every player and i think we're almost there in terms of making some key decisions". Take the negative from that if you want, but to me that meant we're close to making signings now that we've had a look at the squad (in the League Cup).
