I was worried beforehand but actually felt ok. I was only close to about 2 strangers for any length of time really (the guys next to me when the match was on). Both were of an age where they were, most likely, fully vaccinated.

I was next to a couple of wee smelly neds. Our bit was packed. And as you can tell by my name, I'm not really in the open air.

he's made a fair point though, more and bigger killers out there

i watched an awful clip of someone calling into a show, think it was channel 5, guy called nick who tried to go to doctors during pandemic, was refused, was asked to send in a photos, was prescribed medication but was not getting any better, his wife kept at him to keep contacting the doctors. Eventually just the other day his GP agreed to see him, he was refered for a biopsy and has been told he now has less than 12 months to live. If this man was seen to at the time he would have had a chance of operating and beating it

There are far bigger killers out there than covid, dont even get me started on suicide.

Much bigger killers yeah like heart disease. The difference between that and COVID is you don't infect someone with heart disease. So the methods of tackling these things is dependent on the cause.

The whole point of safety measures being put in place was to not overwhelm the NHS. if we hadn't taken the measures we did there would have been many more examples of the one you have given because the hospitals would be struggling to cope with the number of sick COVID patients being admitted.

i do not disagree with any of your points, i havent said anything opposite either? i've actually just mentioned above about NHS

and again as above post, with the amount of people vaccinated now we should be getting back to normal

Unless of course that was meant as a joke in line with the topic, in which case I win instead 😁

In terms of keeping safe, you must have one of the safety's seats in the whole stadium you think? No one in front of you at all. It was really busy up my end of the GF for some reason on Sat. Just all felt a bit strange.

Yeah, and with the worst view. ☹️ Mind you, having a boy just behind shouting about m0ngs is hardly ideal. I'll end up saying something to him at some point...
