Oh my God, how many times do you want to go over the same bloody debate! I understand the whole of your argument on corporate tax but just don't agree with how you apply it. For reasons given in great depth many times before. I respect your argument but don't agree with it. Now get over it.

Hadn't research the P&O detail above what was in the Guardian article. It clearly referred to the decision being becasue they lose the EU tax benefits. What more is there to understand of their reasons for leaving?

I raised the tax issue as it seemed apt, given that you raised P&O’s decision to reflag their fleet in order to reduce their tax. Surely you can see how it informed our past debate? You have always been rather dismissive of the notion that your party’s plans to raid businesses for many billions of pounds would produce an adverse reaction, but then you gave an actual example of a company reacting to a tax rise. Whether that derives from Brexit or from the actions of a UK government is irrelevant. The effect is there for you to see (and post about).

I raised Abbott, because I know that you are keen Labour supporter and was curious about whether you agreed with the decision of your party to lodge a formal complaint with the BBC about Abbott being bullied. It’s called having a conversation. Again, I’m worried that people might see your reaction and think that you are trying to avoid talking about the performance of the MP that you would have as Home Secretary of our country - by tradition the fourth most senior position in government.

Going back to the Abbott thing on QT, there's questions still to be asked regarding the pre show warm up jokes, the bbc have already basically admitted wrongfully stating the results of previous opinion polls, it's an ongoing campaign. Dianne Abbott may not be the slickest of politicians in front of the camera, it's painful sometimes i'd agree, read this link though and take a look at her election results eh.....

I don't think I've mentioned it before but I'm interested in your professed stance, oft repeated, that you have no political affiliation to any party. As you do appear to have quite (apparently) similar views to the Conservative party, please do talk politics to me about why you don't vote Conservative and specifically what their last manifesto lacked that would have secured your oh-so-free-thinking-superior--to-anyone-else vote?

And whilst you're in the mood to talk politics, please also explain your desired outcome for the current Brexit deadlock. What would you like to happen next?

My post was pointing in the direction that business is likely to respond to the No Deal arrangement that you would like and examples of some of our companies making these decisions. If you took a real deep look at the whole of the tory parliamentary party, there aint many of them you'd trust with running an household, and it's increasingly clear that they've all one thing on their minds, their own selfish ends, i'm not surprised by that, they've always been that to me, somehow though, with the help of the media, they continue to get elected....

I think we've generally concurred that Abbott is a weak link, how much more clear can we be?

But as ET and MMM say, where is the equal criticism of hapless Tories, especially coming from the self professed neutral free and fearless thinker among us, that still can't bring himself to identify a single policy difference between himself and the Tories....
