why don't you start your own, praising DFCSS, instead of continually trolling on this one?

I didn't know what you meant? DFCSS made a deal to strengthen their position at the cost of hundreds of thousands of pounds to the club. That's a part of what I was saying earlier, DFCSS wanted full control at any cost

Let's now say there are problems with the pitch, I don't know let's assume some pipes were to burst in the undersoil heating. Now let's consider that FPS approach DFCSS and ask for help paying for the repairs - of course the society would help. Again only a scenario of course.

Now imagine for a second that FPS want to purchase a sculpture and they approach DFCSS and ask them to make the purchase on their behalf and effectively donate it to the club; of course they would do it. Again only a scenario.

Now imagine just for a second that FPS would thank DFCSS for help in the above scenarios - no, that would just be ridiculous.
In these scenarios, would they be using the money raised by the fans for the club, or would they have already spunked that on supporters conference’s

OK, will try again. Was there an alternative group who could have stepped in in place of DFCSS? I can see a scenario where there might have been another group of fans who could have been the ones to take over the running of the club. Pure speculation on my part. You have insights about the administration that are interesting. Not trying to score points. Just would like to understand why there is a body of opinion that thinks DFCSS are not reliable custodians of the A shares, etc. It might also explain why FPS seem to be unable to have a positive working relationship with DFCSS. It could be the other way round, and I'd accept that construct.

What I don't like is the thought that there is a fundamental disagreement between two organisations that care about DFC.

Very relevant if your a member and ex office bearer although could understand if you didn't want to give your opinion but not irrelevant.

I've been harping on about the dangers of a move to tannadice for months now.
My personal opinion on the preferred option is mine mate and it'll stay mine, too many people only too happy to grab, distort and present opinions as facts. If my preferred option was to come up I'd probably stay well away anyway, sick to the back teeth of the whole thing.

I know you spotted the possibility of ground sharing some time ago, I pretty much stayed out of it as I have my own views on the new stadium saga and dread the possibility of playing there. As I've already alluded to, and I think you're the same, if it happens I'll be looking for something else to occupy my Saturdays. Over 50 years supporting the club but that's one thing that would make me walk away.

I'd have went round the 5-ways club and got a load of auld yins in to run the club, which would encourage more pensioners at Dens. Carers go free. Win win. Haven't seen any posts which question DFCSS holding the A-shares.
